Monumental 18th C. Oil on Canvas of Mary & Jesus. This is a magnificent original 18th century oil on canvas painting from Estate of Princess Shams Pahlavi, sister of Shah of Iran. She was converted to Christianity and was very close to Vatican. This painting has wonderful detail, design and subject. It shows the life of Jesus Christ. It comes with its original 18th century Italian gold leaf 6" wide frame. It measures 48.1" by 59.3" framed and 29" by 36" unframed. The frame is 6" wide and 5" deep.
