The specimen consists of a preserved adult Parthenos sylvia butterfly, mounted under glass within a black wooden frame. The butterfly displays its characteristic wing pattern: forewings are olive-brown with large, translucent cream markings, while hindwings feature intricate striations of bronze, green, and brown that create a subtle iridescent effect. A printed label beneath the specimen identifies it by its common and scientific names. The frame is fitted with a plain white backing board, and the specimen is positioned centrally for display.
